Impact-Absorption
In order to fully protect your phone, you need a case which will absorb the force that results from the phone impacting the ground in the event that you drop it. The main cause of damage to phones comes from this impact, so it’s important to look for a case which incorporates high-impact material.

AiroShock™ absorbs the energy of drops and dampens the impact by slowing down the rate of deceleration. Torsion Prevention
Torsion is one of the leading causes of damage to phones, but it’s something people rarely consider when choosing a phone case. Torsion is an engineering term which essentially means ‘twisting’, and it refers to the way that phones are inclined to twist when they hit the ground. In order to prevent this from happening, it’s vital to choose a case which is made from stiff materials that keep your phone rigid when it hits the ground.
All of our cases are built with extremely solid backplates for this very reason. We use materials like polycarbonate, which is used in riot shields and is around two hundred times as strong as glass, because they keep your phone firmly in place when it hits the ground, dramatically reducing the chances of it cracking or shattering as a result of twists and turns.
Another reason that we use polycarbonate is that it’s possible for it to be completely clear. Our Clarity cases are designed with polycarbonate that’s been wrapped in a scratch-resistant coating, with built in anti-yellowing, UV-resistant technology. This means that not only does your clear case stay clear for longer, but it’s also supremely protective against torsion. Win, win.
Screen Protection
To get the absolute maximum protection for your screen, you need to use a screen protector - we have options in TPU, glass and hybrid glass - but there are steps your case can take to protect your phone screen. A supremely protective case will prevent your phone screen from touching the ground in the event of accidental drops and falls.
We’ve designed our cases with raised edges for this exact reason - raised top and bottom edges on the case help protect your screen from unwanted cracks. We’re also able to maintain the functionality of your phone; by only raising the top and bottom edges, we’ve created distance between your screen and a hard surface, without impeding edge-to-edge swiping.
